Snorkeling to WWI shipwreck
The tour departs at 09:00. You need to take your swimming suit, beach towel, slippers, sun cream and snorkeling equipment if you have. Otherwise we will provide you fins, mask and snorkel.
We will drive to ANZAC Commemorative Site at North Beach. The name of the ship that we will snorkel is "Milo". It was a steamer in 1915 which was sunk for breakwater.
Milo is around 75 meters away from the shore and 3 to 6 meters depth. You need to be fit enough to swim that distance to join the tour. Tour comes back to hotel around 11:30 and you will have enough time to have a shower before you go on to Gallipoli Tour. If you are staying at Hotel Crowded House we will allow you for a late check out when you join the snorkeling tour. You will see a WWI shipwreck and you might be able to see fishes or lobsters in the shipwreck. Also when you look at the land from the sea, you can see the same scene that the first diggers did.
Tour price includes: -
Snorkelling equipment (fins, mask and snorkel)
Transportation to ANZAC Commemorative Site and back to hotel
